And let’s face it, some stationary is just too beautiful to write in, like the first notebook I’m going to share with you. I touch this, I stroke it, I take pictures of it next to my cherub boys, but the pages remain empty. It’s from my cherub period, and I’ll always love it, and I hope you do too.
We all know it’s vitally important to have a notebook which suits the mood, so I was really pleased a few years ago when I came across some fuscia pink ones, which were a perfect match for my M&B aspirations back in the day. It sounds silly unless you’ve done it, but writing romance is SO much easier when you have pretty notebooks. So I bought a stack, but I soon went through them, and one day as an emergency measure I bought a black one, but it just didn’t look right...
Which is where we come onto my next, closely related obsession, which is for buying wrapping paper. I have drawers full of the stuff, and the prettiest of all gets put in frames. When I go shopping at Christmas I invariably come home with paper not gifts. When the local posh card shop started to stock Cath Kidson wrapping paper, I never went in without treating myself,
but lets face it, some paper is just too pretty to use for wrapping presents...
But it was perfect for covering dreary notebooks! So perfect that I had to buy dreary notebooks in all shapes and sizes just so I could cover them.
And they make fab presents too, which goes some way to solving the problem of not having any gifts to wrap.
Thanks so much for letting me come and chat Eve! I’ve had a fab time!

BIO: Jane Linfoot Author
I’m Jane Linfoot, and I write fun, flirty fiction, with feisty heroines and a bit of an edge.
I live in a mountain kingdom in Derbyshire, England, where my family and pets are kind enough to ignore the domestic chaos – happily, we’re in walking distance of a supermarket. For me, writing romance is cool because I get to wear pretty shoes instead of wellies. I love hearts, flowers, happy endings, all things vintage, most things french. When I’m not on facebook, and can’t find an excuse for shopping, I’ll be walking, or gardening. On days when I want to be really scared, I ride a tandem.

looking for Mr Right, she’s definitely hitting on the wrong guy. Then again, after catching an unscheduled glimpse of her knickers, perhaps Brando needs to teach this “gold-digger” a lesson!
She’s seizing the moment, he’s breaking the
rules, and when bad boys can be so much fun, who can resist getting on the right side of Mr. Wrong...
