So, I've been working, working, working. 'Fession: I like working, working, working - it gives you that going to bed with a clear conscience feeling! But...you can only work so hard for so long before your body, mind and soul needs a break.
And when you do get that break, there's nothing better than getting out in the fresh air, letting that brain of yours have a rest and giving your tired eyes something other than a screen to look at.
Luckily I live not a million miles from one of the Royal parks. Having one thousand acres to explore means it doesn't matter how busy it is - there's always space to breathe and the peace to reset your mind.

It's special during any season, but during autumn I get to feast on the myriad colours of the leaves turning.
I get to gaze out over still water and do nothing more strenuous than daydream.
And when I see Fly Agaric like this I imagine one day writing a book about a woodland sprite!
And because my writer's brain has been treated to all of the above it starts to slowly come back to life, so that when I suddenly look down and see a tiny heart-shaped piece of confetti lying on the ground, it gets me thinking...
